Scientific Queen Rearing, By G. M. Doolittle

G. M. Doolittle is often called the Father of Modern Queen Rearing. He developed the method of transferring young larvae from worker brood cells to special wax cups he fashioned from the rods of wooden rakes. This is a very useful book, and in many ways amazing due to Doolittle’s insight into bee biology and the importance of quality queens in a beekeeping operation. This book is highly recommended for all beekeepers who are serious about learning how the beekeeper influences the quality of the queen and thus the entire hive.
